Assassin's Creed Reveals Unexpected AoT Event for Thanksgiving
In a surprising collaboration that defies usual expectations, Ubisoft has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Revealed
According to the authorized release, "A mysterious confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of banned ceremonies and terrifying changes resonate through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret cult.
The adventure concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Changes
The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the adventure will acquire an special katana together with several items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
